AirStream International Exterior
Let’s start with the exterior. The front of the International has two 30-pound propane tanks covered by a stainless steel cover. The cover is easy to remove and there’s a gauge that shows how much propane you have left in the tanks. Pretty helpful for those who love to cook and need to keep track of their levels. The International has a standard power tongue jack that makes it easy to hitch and unhitch from your truck. There’s also a bubble leveler on the front that shows how level the trailer is. The Demco easy latch lock is a nice feature that does not require a hitch lock. Additionally, this model has extra storage due to it being a twin bed model. There are two side storage units that provide ample room for chairs, cargo, or power cords. The battery box is another great feature as it keeps the batteries protected from the elements. You can fit two batteries inside the box, and it comes standard with a 300-watt solar package that has upgraded Merlin panels.
AirStream International Interior
Moving onto the interior, the International has plenty of features that make it feel like home. The camper truly has a great layout that maximizes space and provides you with a comfortable living experience. There is a dinette that can comfortably seat four people and can convert into a bed. The twin beds are also comfortable and provide plenty of room for sleeping. There is a full bathroom that includes a toilet, sink, and shower. The shower has a skylight that provides natural light, and the bathroom also has plenty of storage space.
The kitchen is one of the standout features of the International. It has a two-burner cooktop and a stainless steel sink with a cutting board. The refrigerator is a decent size and can hold plenty of food and drinks. There are also plenty of cabinets and drawers for storage, and the International comes with a microwave as well. Another nice feature is the Bluetooth-enabled sound system, which provides great sound quality.
Now for the control panel. The battery disconnect is an important feature to know about, as it allows you to conserve power on your batteries when you’re not plugged in or away from your camper. If the voltage dips down to a certain level, the system will start beeping to let you know that your batteries need to be charged. You’ll find this control panel on all Flying Cloud models.
The awning control panel is another important feature, allowing you to open and close your awning with ease. You can tilt the awning in case of rain, and there’s even a dimmer control for the lights inside. Speaking of lights, there are controls for the ceiling and awning lights, as well as dimmer controls for any light on the inside.
Moving on, let’s take a look at the rear bath floor plan. One of the first things you’ll notice is the porthole windows, which give the interior a unique, boat-like feel. The bathroom has plenty of space, with a stainless steel sink, towel holder, and adjustable mirror. There’s also a lot of storage space, including a spot for your toilet paper (no need to worry about where to put it!). The toilet is porcelain, and there’s access to the hot water heater controls and tank monitor panel.
The shower is roomy enough for most people, with high-quality fiberglass materials and the ability to hang wet towels or swimming gear to dry.
