            Okay so when looking at, buying or having service done to RV’s it is impossible to remember all of the essential info. It’s a lot and unless you devote countless hours to it you will absolutely forget a good hand full of it. So what’s the best way of to combat this? RV’s and the different variations

      …the bare bone basics, RV’s (recreationl vehicles also referred to as campers) that come with kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, storage and more in various fashions. Campers can be taken to accommodating campgrounds and hook up to their water, electrical and sewage or to more scenic areas to really be immersed in natures atmosphere. The different versions include:

 

Do I need a special license to drive an RV?

            Answer: No

 Most states do not require any special licenses to drive RVs though based on the size of the camper some states may require a commercial license. So just to be safe check your states regulation.

 

What’s the yearly maintenance on RV’s?

            Answer: Have your heating and cooling solutions serviced, Inspect your propane, and service your breaks.

 When on the road problems are unfortunely inevitable however to reduce those problems getting your yearly maintenance is a must. Getting the AC and heating tuned will minimize breakdowns, having professionals check for leaks, rust and other damage can eliminate safety hazards and also having them check your brake pads and brake fluid will also keep you safe on the road. Keep a log of any maintenance or service you have done to to keep track of what needs to be done.

 

How frequently should I get oil changes?

          Answer: Every 4000 to 6000 miles.

 It’s basically the same as a car. Every 4000 to 6000 miles is ideal (though that may very with the type of oil used, if it’s an older unti or it’s a high milage vechicle) but at the very minimum once per year will do. 

 

What are Grey and Black Tanks?

 

          Answer: Your gre tank holds water waste from sink and shower while your black tank holds waste from your toilet

 Normally you will have three tanks in your camper, the fresh water, grey water and black water tanks. The frsh water holds all of the water that will come out of your tap and the other two are as mentioned above.  

 

What does the RV come with?

           Answer: A power cord, a full propane tank and the battery

 It’s just common practice for RV’s to come with a battery but a full tank and a poweer cord are just some nice extras we’ll provide.

 

What do I need for my RV?

          Answer: Emergency kits (first aid, tools, auto), Cleaning supplies, Wheel chokes, leveling blocks, extention cords, electrical adapters, Kicthen supplies, sewer and water hook up supplies.

 

What other fees on sale price?

           Answer:  The documentation fee

The documentation fee is the only additional fee on sale price and comes up to a little over $100. In which we would cover all of the administrative paper work required to get you on the road.
