How To Level your RV Trailer or Motorhome FAST AND EASY!

When going camping, one of the most important things to do is make sure your camper is perfectly level. Here’s what you’ll need to level your RV Trailer or Motorhome:

  • 1 set of Andersen Camper Levelers
  • 1 bubble level

Step 1: Identify which side of your camper is leaning the lowest to the ground, and set your Andersen Ramps behind the tires on that lowest side.

Step 2: Place your level on the tongue- you don’t have to put it on the tongue but this is a common location. Another common spot (especially with motorhomes) is on the back bumper.

Step 3: Back your camper onto the Ramps. The easiest way to do this is to have one person drive/back up the camper, and a second person watching the level. The person watching the level can then tell the driver to stop once the bubble level indicates the camper is level. One tip is to use walkie talkies or your phone to communicate!

Step 4: Wedge your Andersen Chocks in place firmly under the Ramps. You can use a mallet or small hammer to assure the Chocks are in place if you feel necessary.

Your RV is now level. Time to get camping!
