Thor Four Winds Exterior
The motorhome mirrors are large to enable drivers to see the whole side of the camper while driving. The front cap is a one-piece, sleek design with seals that run behind the cap to provide a better seal and reduce the likelihood of leaks.The motorhome has a regular Ford chassis, with Duallys in the back for better grip on the road, especially on gravel stone roads. The sliding windows are used throughout the motorhome and provide excellent airflow when opened. The natural light inside the camper is abundant with lots of windows, including a kitchen window. The motorhome comes with a standard six-gallon propane-electric hot water tank with no anode rods that tend to clog up over time.
The furnace vent is on the side of the motorhome, and the water hookup is on the opposite side allowing users to clean up after a day at the beach or on muddy trails. The motorhome has a full laminate slide, which is insulated like the walls of the motorhome. It also has slide toppers on every slide to keep debris from accumulating. The Schwinn Tech slide gears on the bottom and two on the top make the slide strong enough to hold the weight going in and out. Users must run the engine while running the slide and ensure that the battery is fully charged.
Thor Four Winds Interior
Upon entering the RV, you’ll notice the control bay, which allows you to control the axis solar panels, turn off the power when not in use, the step lights and an awning control. Moving towards the back, you’ll come across the bedroom. It features a full-length queen-size bed and ample storage on either side, including USB ports, a 12-volt plug for your CPAP machine, and cubbies. Additionally, you’ll find storage compartments above the bed, a huge closet, and drawers underneath. The bedroom also has a dresser with a plug that can double as a nightstand. You can even set up a TV back there using the HDMI cord and antenna cord provided.
The Four Winds doesn’t have any vents for heat ducts in the floor, but the walls in the cabinet serve the purpose of venting. You’ll also notice only one AC in the RV, but it’s vented throughout the bedroom and up front, so you’ll get even air flow throughout the whole coach. All the lights in the RV are LED lights.Towards the back of the RV, you’ll find the stabilizers that are push-button up and down. They help stabilize the RV, but they won’t level it. You’ll also find the Magnum Auto generator start that automatically starts your generator when your battery gets low under 12.5 volts, keeping your RV cool and ensuring you have a comfortable place to come back to.
The ventilation system is responsible for sucking in air and blowing it out elsewhere. The drawers are large, providing easy access to the back of the drawer when opened, and there are plenty of them for storage. There is also a storage area underneath the sink, which adds to the space available for pots, pans, and silverware. The sink is tall and deep, made of stainless steel, which means hot water or hot pans can be put in it without melting the material. Above the sink, there is more storage space, which can be used to hide various items. The fridge is a newer Norco 12-volt fridge that is deep and has adjustable shelves, making it possible to fit tall containers like milk bottles. The freezer is also large, and there is more storage space above it to hide things away.
Lastly moving on to the bathroom, you can see that it is right in the middle of the trailer. It has a porcelain toilet, a corner shower, and a sink with a medicine cabinet. There is also a linen closet where you can store towels, washcloths, and other items you need in the bathroom. The bathroom also has a fan to suck out all the steam to keep your mirrors from fogging up while you take a shower. The trailer also has a heavy-duty wood door with a magnet to hold it open and prevent it from slamming against the wall.
