BLUE OX TOW BARS

The most important thing  that everybody knows about Blue Ox is that we build tow bars and quality tow bars.

The first one is the Aladdin tow bar. It’s an aluminum tow bar. The gross weight is 7500 lbs. towing capacity. It’s an aluminum tow bar. Full-time RVers like that because they weigh less than steel and aluminum doesn’t rust as easily.

The next one is our most popular one. It is the Aventa LX. That is a 10,000 gross weight towing capacity tow bar. If customers have this tow bar, they can tow anything from a small car up to a full-size pickup and not have any issues with it.

The difference with this particular tow bar is that it has a ball and socket as opposed to other style. In the ball and socket you can turn 360 degrees. So you never have a problem towing it.

All of Blue Ox’s tow bars come with triple lugs on them which make it it really easy to set up to the base plate on the towed vehicle.  We also have rubber boots on  all of our legs. This keeps the legs nice and clean.

All of our Blue Ox tow bars have a three -year warranty on them. If anyone has a problem, we have an 800 number that’s good 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. If the customer is traveling on the highway and has a problem with our equipment, all they need to do is call the 800 number. They will talk to a live person. We never have an answering machine no matter what time it is. They will send them to the nearest dealer to help them with anything they might need.

This tow bar is our newest tow bar which came out the end of last year. This is called the Avail. We’ve gone to a completely different style on it. This is a primed metallic paint with gold Blue Ox lettering on it.

The legs assembly is two inches longer than the other tow bars to give it a little bit more turning radius in tight turns so that your towed vehicle is not going to go up next to your motorhome.

Also, we have a brand new handle release for the legs. So when you take them out and put them back in it’s really easy.  With the spring assembly and pistol grip, it will never bind. One thing we don’t ever encourage is to use a hammer or pressure against those because they can snap a spring. This one has a coiled spring.

A lot of people like this tow bar because it looks really sharp.

We have a couple other tow bars, but these are our main tow bars.

Blue Ox are great tow bars made in Nebraska.
